β€œOur tea trees are never sheared or chemically stimulated. We listen to the rhythm of the Kaziranga forest, withering leaves by the warmth of natural bamboo fires.”

β€” Dhiren & Family Grove, Golaghat Foothills, Assam

Dhiren represents the third generation of tea stewards tending an unpruned, seed-grown grove on the southern banks of the Brahmaputra River. Unlike industrial tea plantations that shear bushes into identical chest-high tables, Dhiren’s trees grow wild and deep-rooted up to three meters high into the forest canopy. The resulting leaves possess a thick, resinous sap that yields exceptional depth when withered naturally and cold-smoked over dried river bamboo and seasoned wild oak.
